Ordinary Members shall consist of those registered and entitled to be registered in Division 1 of the Dental Register according to Dental Act 1971 provided that such members are residing in Malaysia.
(Entrance fee: RM100 and Annual Subscription: RM100)

Any other person holding a dental qualification recognised by the Council of the Association, provided such members are residing in Malaysia.

The following shall be eligible for Associate Membership:

Any person holding a dental qualification recognised by the Council of the Association, provided that such members are not residing in Malaysia

Accredited members of foreign national dental associations whose associations extend reciprocal membership to members of the Association

Members of the Allied Professions who contribute to the advancement of Dentistry
(Entrance fee : RM100 and Annual Subscription : RM100)

Dental undergraduates who are from Universities/Colleges/Dental Schools which are recognised by the Malaysian Dental Council.
(Annual Subscription : RM10)

Life members shall be ordinary members of the Association, having been continuously members of the Association for twenty years and who have attained the age of 55 years. Expulsion or resignation of membership shall be deemed as a break in continuity of membership

Ordinary members of the Association may apply for Life Membership upon one lump sum payment of RM2500 (Two Thousand Five Hundred Ringgit)

Corresponding members shall be members of the Association who have left Malaysia for a period of not less than one year and who continue to take an interest in the affairs of the Association.
